The Kivo Plus is a parent-child three-wheel tandem for an adult sitting at the back and a child sitting at the front. This gives the child a great view of the surroundings, while the rider at the back always has a clear view of the child. The Kivo Plus tandem has a low step-through, making it easy to use. Since the Kivo Plus is equipped with two rear wheels instead of one, this three-wheel tandem offers extra stability. The two rear wheels also make it even easier to get on and off the bike when it is stationary.

The Kivo Plus three-wheel tandem comes standard with 8 gears and a switchable freewheel. With this switchable freewheel, you can choose whether and how the passenger pedals along.

With rear steering, the freewheel hub has three modes:
1. The passenger’s pedals move together with the main rider’s pedals. The passenger must pedal along.
2. The passenger’s pedals move independently of the main rider’s pedals. The pedals spin freely and the passenger cannot pedal along.
3. In this mode, the passenger’s pedals move independently of the main rider’s pedals. The passenger can choose to pedal along.

Smart e-bike

An optional electric motor is available for all versions, providing comfortable pedal assistance that makes riding this tandem even easier.

If you choose the optional electric pedal assistance, it comes as a smart e-bike. You can then use the Van Raam app to set a different assistance level on your Van Raam bike.
