With the Twinny tandem, getting on and off is easy thanks to the spacious low step-through. Extra space has been created between the saddle of the front rider and the handlebar of the passenger, so you don’t sit too close together. You can decide how to ride together — with the dual freewheel, you can pedal independently of each other.

With the optional switchable freewheel, you can choose whether and how the passenger pedals along. Using the freewheel hub, the main rider can set how the passenger participates in pedaling. With front steering, the freewheel hub has two modes:

1. The passenger’s pedals move together with the main rider’s pedals. The passenger must pedal along.

2. The passenger’s pedals move independently of the main rider’s pedals. The pedals spin freely and the passenger cannot pedal along.

Many options are available for this bike, including a divisible version. You can also optionally have rear steering installed. With rear steering, there is a third mode. In this mode, the passenger’s pedals move independently of the main rider’s pedals and the passenger can pedal along.

Since we custom-build each bike, you can adjust the frame height at the front and back to your preference. An electric motor provides comfortable pedal assistance, making riding this tandem even easier.

Smart e-bike

If you choose the optional electric pedal assistance, it is delivered as a smart e-bike. You can then use the Van Raam app, for example, to switch between assistance modes.
