The Easy Rider Compact is a compact tricycle with a seat that makes cycling very easy. This comfortable tricycle is suitable for small adults and larger children. The tricycle has both a compact look and compact dimensions. The Easy Rider Compact has similar riding characteristics to the Easy Rider tricycle, but the Easy Rider Compact is much smaller. Thanks to its unique frame, it has a low step-through and a lower center of gravity. This makes you feel safe and secure while riding the tricycle.
The forward pedaling motion and the suspension in the seat provide perfect riding comfort, making both short and longer rides comfortable. The seat of the recumbent tricycle is adjustable. The Easy Rider Compact is very maneuverable and has a small turning radius.
The Easy Rider Compact is suitable for people with an inseam length of approximately 63 cm to 81 cm, which corresponds to a body height of about 1.40 to 1.70 meters.
The Easy Rider Compact has a compact design, with a small front wheel and larger rear wheels. This tricycle also has a narrower handlebar and shorter cranks than the Easy Rider. Anti-tip wheels are mounted on the rear frame as standard. Under normal use on flat ground, you won’t tip backward. If the bike reverses on a steep slope (maximum 10%) and you brake, the bike could tip. The anti-tip wheels prevent tipping backward. Please refer to the Easy Rider Compact manual for all safety precautions for riding on an incline.
Almost all cabling runs through the frame, which not only looks neat but also protects the cables better. In addition, the Easy Rider Compact has a chain tube instead of a chain guard, contributing to a modern and minimalist design.
A luggage frame is mounted on the backrest of the Easy Rider Compact. A single-sided pannier bag can be easily attached to this frame and removed to store personal items or groceries. The luggage frame fits most single-sided pannier bags. The optional battery for this tricycle is mounted perpendicular to the bike between the two rear wheels. The battery slide is designed so that the battery only needs to be partially inserted and can be easily removed.
The Easy Rider Compact can be customized to your needs and preferences with various options. Think of a mirror, footrests, a cane holder, or a larger battery.
The Easy Rider Compact comes standard in wine red matte (RAL 3005), but is also available in another frame color of your choice.
With the optional pedal assistance, the Easy Rider Compact becomes a smart e-bike. With the new Silent smart display, you can easily adjust the desired level of assistance, and the display shows current cycling information such as speed and remaining battery capacity. Van Raam’s Silent electrical system is equipped with a starting aid that provides extra support when setting off.
