The Chat rickshaw bike is designed for cycling together with adults and/or children who can no longer participate in traffic independently. A guide cycles with one or two passengers. The two passengers sit side by side at the front in a specially designed cockpit where design and ergonomics come together. The rider sits behind this cockpit, maintaining a clear view of both the road and the passengers.
The Chat gives people the opportunity to chat and enjoy a pleasant bike ride, thanks to a combination of suspension, ergonomic seating, and comfortable cushions. Seniors, for example, can explore the city with younger people, take on the role of 'guide', share stories from the past, and thus break out of isolation for a while.
In addition to supporting seniors, the Chat is also suitable for people who want to go out with a caregiver, as well as for care institutions, families, and holiday parks.
The Chat rickshaw bike comes standard with our unique electric pedal assist, which even allows you to ride backwards. You also get free access to the Van Raam e-bike app.
With the electric pedal assist, the bike is delivered as a smart e-bike. You can use the Van Raam app to adjust the assistance settings on your Van Raam bike.
Optionally, the Chat can be equipped with a canopy to protect passengers from sun and rain.
